Sure! Doubt I'll see much, but I should be able to catch some 30s and 40s films (as I'm still working on some years from those decades).

Ranma Ranma Nibun no Ichi (Ranma 1/2):
| Shampoo Hyōhen! Hanten Hōju no Wazawai OVA (Shampoo's Sudden Switch - The Curse of the Contrary Jewel) (1993) 29m
| Tendō-ke Scramble Christmas OVA (Tendo Family Christmas Scramble) (1993) 28m
1. Akane vs Ranma: Okā-san no Aji wa Watashi ga Mamoru! OVA (Akane vs. Ranma! I'll Be the One to Inherit Mother's Recipes) (1994) 27m

Well, this is a mess on imdb, I see. Some episodes is doubled, once with english and once with japanese title. Seems a clean-up is in order.

Here I come !!

01. Ken ki, by Kenji Misumi (1965) 7,5/10

Good story about a gardener who becomes a swordsman, shot by the nature-loving Misumi.

02. Hogaraka ni ayume, by Yasujiro Ozu (1930) 7/10

Not very subtle for Ozu, but nice to watch...

1. United Red Army / Jitsuroku Rengo Sekigun: Asama sanso e no michi (Jap 07)

Gripping. It's all so familiar - only the setting is different. I admit that in spots I had to lie back and think of England, but I'm glad I stuck it out.

1. Anj-ke no butkai/A Ball at the Anjo House - this was the craziest Japanese film I saw besides A Page of Madness. It came off as exceeding experimental, although it also could be read as a straightforward narrative. Interesting techniques evoked Bunuel, Dulac, and Ray. All this while telling the story of a class that is collapsing. Pretty incredible.

2. Bakuretsu toshi/Burst City (also Japanese Challenge)- wow, this film is the opposite of action. The best thing about it is that it counts for a check on both the Asian and Kinema Junpo lists. That's about all. Bad characters and bad music (which there is plenty of). Despite the warnings in the comments section, I proceeded. Eh. 2/10

A solid plot and great direction.

I forgot how beautiful some of the shots in this movie are. Great start for a great director...

Clan Revival is one of those films with magicians and witches and people turning into spiders and magical masks dueling and terrible special effects. Fight Festival was worth a watch.
