iCM Forum's Favourite Movies of the 1990s
:circle:  RESULTS  :circle:
Posted Image

The 1990s were the last decade of the previous millennium. Some people thought it was the end of history. But of course history didn't end. Neither did film history. People continued making movies. This are our top 250 favorite movies made in this decade.

Please feel free to discuss the list, the films, and any entries that you're happy or unhappy about, whether you submitted a list or not, but please try to be courteous when doing so.
When quoting a post with images it's best if you remove the image unless it's directly relevant to what you're posting

Scoring for ranked lists: Half-life = 50
Scoring for unranked lists: Every film on your list receives the same number of points (the average of what they would have received if your list was ranked).

This list is made possible thanks to these 50 participants

While enjoying these results you can still participate in the The Unofficial 1990s Challenge

Dammit. One in, and I already missed one. I guess that's what happens when you hastily make a list, using only films you favorited.

Duo sang [A Borrowed Life] (Nien-Jen Wu, 1994) is the movie with the least amount of checks. So we got that one out of the way quickly.

There is one movie with only 4 votes, we will meet later. For people wondering what the least amount of votes is.

I thought Sombre was relatively weak. Saw it with a few people from this forum, who absolutely hated it, so that might have affected me (but likely not much).

I was underwhelmed by my first viewing of it. I needed a rewatch. His horror/experimental hybrids like this film are quite interesting, and using experimental techniques for "horrific" moments makes those moments a lot more effective.
