I added the wrong Cape Fear to my list. Well the Scorsese one isn't bad either.

Without your mistake it would have ranked #156.

Maybe because it's not a thriller? Its pacing, from what I remember, is the very opposite of what one would expect from a thriller.

It's not a thriller, but it is a suspenseful movie. The tension is high all through it.

It would have been on my list if I had made one.

I just included Thrilles alone, easily ignoring the SUSPENSE part that this poll called for, because that would be literally impossible to compile.

Das Boot is tagged Thriller on IMDb, so I expected it to turn up on more lists, because lots of people start with using IMDb-filters. And it is extremely suspenseful, no doubt about that.

Fun to see two movies in one post that are separate by almost one hundred years. So much has changed since then.

I think this is my favourite Hitchcock. Glad to see it make the list, but wish it was higher. I guess the comedy takes away some of the thrills and suspense for most.

The Lady Vanishes disappointed me a bit on a rewatch. Indeed, the comedy didn't do the movie good imo.
