Mine:

7) Deadfall (Bryan Forbes, 1968)
Oh man, I'm super-stoked you loved Deadfall, the Vertigo of heist movies indeed, I've been trying to get folks interested in it for years, 5.8/10 for an IMDb score is a triumph for philistinism. You made my day. Almost got into the winners circle on DtC with 3.86 - 7, best performer of my noms so far on a Bayesian level.

For me the films I loved this month in order from 1-11:

V tumane / In the Fog (2012 - Sergey Loznitsa)
Young Catherine (1991 - Michael Anderson)
Ah-ga-ssi / The Handmaiden (2016 - Chan-wook Park)
Predvecerje / Evening (1966 - Eduard Galic)
Le herisson / The Hedgehog (2009 - Mona Achache)
L.I.E. (2001 - Michael Cuesta)
Woman on the Run (1950 - Norman Foster)
Doc (1971 - Frank Perry)
Brat / Brother (1997 - Aleksey Balabanov)
Brat 2 / Brother 2 (2000 - Aleksey Balabanov)
The Chalk Garden (1964 - Ronald Neame)

V tumane is a true Bressonian piece, almost completely overlooked in 2012. The western Doc, a different take on the stories of Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp and Katie Elder, seemed pretty monumental to me, but it is roundly disliked or just tolerated by most. I only bought it because I saw it had Faye Dunaway in, and was directed by Frank Perry, not folks who mess around. Just a real thrill. It's absolutely gorgeous so I presume it must have been disliked because it cast these folks in a bad light, or was too slow paced for people.

Still living in mid-range territory, so the best films I watched in April where 7/10. Very good, but not all time favorites. But these 8 made the month that little bit more bearable:

1. La tête d'un homme [A Man's Neck] (1933, Julien Duvivier)
2. Major Barbara (1941, Gabriel Pascal, Harold French & David Lean)
3. Miss Sloane (2016, John Madden)
4. The Greasy Strangler (2016, Jim Hosking)
5. Ohm Krüger [Uncle Kruger] (1941, Hans Steinhoff, Karl Anton & Herbert Maisch)
6. I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017, Macon Blair)
7. Split (2016, M. Night Shyamalan)
8. That Hamilton Woman (1941, Alexander Korda)

The lowest amount of viewings per month so far this year at only 24, but now that I'm more settled back into my more current job situation (was recently floating between one of any four given sources of work for a few weeks there) I'm hoping to get back into a regular viewing routine once again.

1. Beloved (1998)
2. Black Angel (1946)
3. A Quiet Passion (2016)
4. The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994)
5. India Song (1975)
6. The Voices (2014)
7. Wiener (2016)
8. The Lost City of Z (2016)
9. Lovesong (2016)
10. The Monster (2016)

Most of yours are in my immediate watchlist (lined up for mid-June, I'm taking a hiatus this month). '海街diary' was a Koreeda-miss for me (5/10); 'Union' and 'Every Galactic Federation Video (Compilation)' are of course brilliant.
Cycles [by cyriak] - I dig such puzzles, especially on a gradient of proliferations of Cyriakian proportions.

Mine (out of around 28 features, plenty shorts, 10 feature rewatches & 1 series rewatch):

#1 Palo Alto (2013, Gia Coppola)
#2 Edge of Tomorrow (2014, Doug Liman)
#3 Absences répétées (1972, Guy Gilles)
#4 The Driver (1978, Walter Hill)
#5 Cruel Optimism (2017, Paul Clipson)
#6 Union (2011, Paul Clipson)
#7 El Ángel Exterminador (1962, Luis Buñuel)
#8 リアル鬼ごっこ / Riaru Onigokko / Tag (2015, Sion Sono)
#9 Zwischen zwei kriegen (1978, Harun Farocki)
#10 Daft Punk's the Prime Time of Your Life (2006, Tony Gardner)

HMs: Полустанок / The Halt / The Train Stop (2000, Sergei Loznitsa), You Are Not I (1981, Sara Driver), The Fountain of Youth (1958, Orson Welles), Asdfmovie10 (2017, TomSka), The Horse Raised by Spheres (2014, David OReilly)

Remarkable episodes from Series:

South Park: Black Friday arc
Rick and Morty: Season 3 Episode 1 "The Rickshank Redemption" (2017)
South Park: Kyle sucks Cartman’s balls - The Trilogy (a.k.a. Imaginationland) (Director’s Cut)
South Park: Coon trilogy arc
+many more South Park episodes

Fruitful rewatches: Drive, Killing Them Softly 6 → 7, Collateral 7 → 8, Romance, un homme qui dort + The Big Lebowski & Mulholland Drive theatrically

Slogan-y quotes of the month: "He who controls the pants controls the galaxy!" & "it's time to stop"
