Yeah, why not. A challenge like this might actually encourage me to get back into watching stuff (and clear out at least a bit of my ludicrous backlog).

jgwr I thought the same thing since during the past 2 weeks I only watched 3 movies.
And i love that there are no strict rules. Horror, giallo, exploitation, cult, cool, bad... everything is in! Great!

Yeah I'm in too. At least June will probably be a better month for watching films than this one has been.

Btw, you might want to add this list to the topic, Nuclear: http://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/sound+on+sights+greatest+giallo+films/kowry/

Here's a list I've been working on that fits with the challenge
http://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/full+moon+features/public+enemy/

I'm still sorting things and have a few more movies to add to it but it's got most of them.

Count me in, I will probably mainly work on spaghetti westerns if not already reached Bronze in the Western challenge and then work towards Bronze on the Top 500 Horror Movies list (need 20 for Bronze)

I don't remember the name of the channel off the top of my head but there's a Roku channel that is dedicated to old 3D movies, most if not all are horror. If anyone really wants to know, I can get the name of it when I'm home.

I thought I was only gonna work on officials lists, but I loved the few Troma I saw so I'll probably just work on this one, official or not.

Let me start the party then

1. Class of Nuke 'Em High Part II: Subhumanoid Meltdown - Eric Louzil & Donald G. Jackson 1991

The first one was awesome of course. This is cheesy. Enjoyable though, if you're into really bad films

01 - Fritt vilt II/Cold Prey 2, by Mats Stenberg (2008) 8/10

I like it even more than the first. A teenage slasher, here, becomes a huge hide'n'seek in a clinic. The sound mixing, in this picture, is remarkable, as it really sets the mood...

Spaghetti Western but with horror also.. not really liking it but I now need one for a Bronze for Spaghetti Westerns so will go for that soon.

3. Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama - David DeCoteau 1988

Boobs, asses, spanking, demon-puppets, a bride of Frankenstein look-a-like chasing people and a lot of 80's horror sleaze make this movie irresistible for the fans of bad but awesome 80's horror films

I'm in! I managed four today but I won't be able to keep that up.

1. Cursed (2005) - Teen horror in the vein of Buffy (though nowhere near as good). I thought it was OK: it had some fun tongue-in-cheek moments, though it's very unoriginal, and does have terrible CGI. 5/10
2. The Flesh and the Fiends (1960) - Really good. Peter Cushing and Donald Pleasance are great as always. It loses its way a bit towards the end with a lot of moralising, but generally this is quite effective, and with an excellent witty script. 7/10
3. Burke & Hare (1972) - Bizarre fusion of 70s British sex farce and Hammer Horror Gothic. Lots of gratuitous nudity chucked in and a strange tone that adds interest and makes up for some weak plotting. 5/10
It's also notable for opening with an amusing novelty theme song sung by Paul McCartney's brother:

4. I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer (2008) - I recently discovered that my cousin's partner's sister made a horror film! As it turns out, it's poor, but not too bad for a micro-budget first effort. It does have some good gory kills and a parodically gratuitous shower scene, but other than that it's a cheaply made generic slasher where the killer has a cricketing gimmick. Worst of all it has hardly any funny moments, which it sorely needed. 3/10

4. Microwave Massacre - Wayne Berwick 1983

Another so bad it's kinda good horror film. It's badly made but it's humorous, even if sometimes the humor is a bit childish. It was very enjoyable but I couldn't say it was a great bad movie because there were parts that were slow and boring.

5. The Terror of Tiny Town - Sam Newfield 1938

Oh that was horrible! I'm not a big fan of westerns but this was a new low for westerns in my book. All the actors were midgets riding ponnies and it's probably the only reason why this thing is still remembered.
