Yeah, I'm in. Will mostly be MST3K films but I watch lots of other low-budget crap and B-movies too so maybe I can get a decent number posted if I'm not working too much.

And we're off!

1. Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell (1988) ★☆☆☆☆
A work of total nonsense. [via MST3K]

In order to honor the new Godjilla movie, I wanted to watch a film were he has his ass kicked. This time it's Mothra that fights with him. I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'll just stop here. I grew up with movies like these. It's always fun to watch them.

1. Godzilla vs Mothra (1964) 6/10

1. The Girl Most Likely to... (1973)

"An ugly girl undergoes plastic surgery and becomes beautiful. She then takes revenge on all the people who mistreated her when she was ugly." One of the co-writers was... Joan Rivers  6,5/10

2. Alice in Wonderland: An X-Rated Musical Fantasy (1976)

"A porn musical based on the classic." Suprisingly tasteful. Kristine De Bell was hot. 7/10

3a. The Grandmother (1970) 6,5/10
3b. Within the Woods (1978) Evil Dead prequel 5/10

4a. Garçons de rêves (1981) A Cadinot porno.
4b. Gayniggers from Outer Space (1992)

"Extraterrestrial beings travel the galaxy to free men "oppressed" by females to make way for an entirely-homosexual society." 7/10

I'm aiming for Bronze on deuce. I also need bronze on Spaghetti Westerns, but I'm not sure I'll be able to see an additional 17 films from this category.

2. The Driver (1978) 8/10

I'll have to agree with Tarantino that this is one of the coolest movies of all time. I admit that it's not "Steve McQueen" cool, but what can you do...
It's not a great movie. There are some flaws, but I decided to forget all about them and just appreciate it for what it is.
I love those 70's car chases.

5a. Un chant d'amour (1950) 7/10 (REWATCH; 6/10)
5b. Pull My Daisy (1959)

A visit to a beatnik party. With Jack Kerouac's narration. 6,5/10

6. The Immoral Mr. Teas (Russ Meyer; 1959)

Mr. Teas likes to watch. I didn't like watching him watch. Strangely, it reminded me of Tati's Playtime in a way. A man in the modern world, not really fitting, etc. 4/10

1. White Zombie (1932) Fails to conceal the cheapness and hurriedness of its production, but has inventive cinematography and a good atmosphere. Lugosi is good, the actors playing hero & heroine can't act. 6/10
2. Dirty Mary Crazy Larry (1974) Good stunts but not a particularly compelling story. Too many contrivances and the antiheroes are too superior to the incompetent police. 4/10
3. Rolling Thunder (1977) Gritty and realistic with some good character development. I felt it needed a couple more violent scenes to cover up the longeurs, but otherwise a solid film.6/10
4. The Giant Claw (1957) The monster is funny, unfortunately most of the film is people talking to each other in cheap sets. 3/10

1. Girls in Prison-1994: 6/10

One of a bunch of movies Showtime put out in the mid-'90s, letting directors choose a film from the AIP film catalog to remake. This one is pretty disappointing considering the director (John McNaughton) but it's still entertaining enough to recommend, especially to those fans of '50s women in prison flicks.

4. Heretic (2012) ★☆☆☆☆
Abysmal acting in a supernatural horror with a muted tone and a painfully banal final twist. The priest-in-crisis' attempt to act drunk was a particularly laughable moment.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Spent a few minutes before watching the last abomination looking up YouTube links to movies on the Best B-movies and other lists. Some of them look awesome (Cemetery Man especially),
