I've seen that major piece of shit ages ago. I remember Tarantino in the beginning and his fucked up attempt at doing some Southern accent

Oh, and btw, why is there yet another Western challenge when there already is this?

I nearly used a still or screenshot from that film for my avatar this month, but I couldn't find one that was good enough or would translate well to avatar-size. It's definitely a very "special" film.

Been there, done that. Sadly. It's unfortunately 99% "so bad, it's actually really bad." The "fun" factor dies out real fast. And as a Roy Orbison music fan, it can only tarnish your image of the crooner.

This year I might try and watch A million Ways to Die in the West, it looks insanely God awful, but curiosity you know... Plus I have a crush on Sarah Silverman (I find her funny, smart and pretty.) Incidentally, if you guys wanna have your pants charmed off, watch her episode of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It's about 15 minutes long and very funny.

Are they shitty because it's mostly anal?

I'm only going to watch a couple of bad westerns, I'll be mostly focusing on trying to watch good ones.

I find it hilarious how he's in the Spaghetti Western Database. Plus Joe D'Amato directed them, and some weirdo chose him for the director's filmography challenge next month, so you can kill 2 birds with one stone that way.

I just saw this a few days ago -- it is PAINFUL. Mr. burneyfan likes Seth MacFarlane and hated it too. Sarah Silverman is not in it nearly enough. Enjoy! :ph43r:

Oh -- but the Monument Valley shots look kind of nice, if you can totally ignore the actors.

Top Tier (Favorites, very good):
Forty Guns, Colorado Territory, I Shot Jesse James, Coroner Creek, Stranger on Horseback, Little Big Horn, Rancho Notorious, Hangman's Knot, Riding Shotgun, Track of the Cat, A Lawless Street, Jubal, Terror in a Texas Town (The final duel is extremely unique, plus it's Joe Lewis, so you know it's going to be dark and sadistic)

Good:
Yellow Sky (Gregory Peck shirtless (not very impressive)) The Man from Colorado, The Violent Men, The Hanging Tree

Maybe:
Jack Slade (for Dorothy Malone and a nice gritty feel that doesn't quite make up for the lack of script and direction)

Rebel in Town (This film is included in LASH!! The Hundred Great Scenes of Men Being Whipped in Movies)

Man in the Shadow (Orson is the villain in a bad B Movie)

Run of the Arrow (in certain corners, it's considered great. I'm a huge Sam Fuller fan and I urge you to watch Forty Guns and I Shot Jesse James, but not this one.)

Lonely Are the Brave (Some people claim it's an important masterpiece, I claim it's self-important masturbation)
