Exactly! So many different types of movies fall under the category of cult that there should be something to interest anybody if they look.

Perhaps this is a stupid question, but does a film have to be on one of these lists to qualify for this challenge? A while ago, I got a collection of Drive-In classics that I haven't started in on, and this would be a fantastic time to do so. But I haven't compared the films in that collection to any of the lists above...

The easiest way to find out if they're on any of the lists would be to get your film on ICM and then click the "In lists" tab or the "View all lists this movie is on" link.

(That's what I did, being pretty clueless about the whole thing: Haven't the foggiest what "grindhouse" is and I saw Ugetsu in a drive-in, for heaven's sake. My schlock-watching period was pre-drive-in, but I don't suppose 1940s swashbucklers qualify and that's OK.)

Btw, folks, The last of England is streaming on Amazon Prime.

No, those lists are just suggestions.

I assume that the films in your Drive-In collection are safe...

Definitely in!

Also few more list suggestions of one's I've created:

https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/something+weird+complete+dvd+catalog/flavo5000/

The Sleazoid Express list specifically is pretty much the perfect list for this challenge.

1. Violet (2015) 1/10
Worthless horror in which a deceased mental patient seemingly returns to haunt the new home of a pregnant couple. Any plot thread that might have been briefly interesting is instantly squashed by a combination of bad directing, bad acting and an overall vagueness that makes the film painfully perfunctory. At least it's brief, with a 45-minute runtime.

Death Wish (1974) - 500 Essential Cult Movies, Action! The Action Movie A-Z. Vigilante

The serious one. Produced by Dino de Laurentiis. The B-movie producer of the 70s. When De Laurentiis started with bigger budget movies in the 80s he was dethroned Golam/Globus Cannon group, which also continued with Death Wish's sequels. I'll continue with the DW2 later today or tomorrow.

2. Ninja III: The Domination (1984) - ninjasplotation, Cannon group

I've already seen DW2 before, so while I decide if I should rewatch it, or just skip to 3 I'll take a break with another Cannon group movie.

I grew up on the American Ninja-series which aslo was Cannon, but the whole wave started with this film "series" and Enter the Ninja in 1981. Well, this movie is a sequel in name only.

After a big wave of Bruce Lee and Kurosawa movies, the american audiences was ready for some ninja B-action, and cheking the ninja tag on imdb it seems Enter the Ninja was first.

It is a vehicle for the star from Breakin' and Breakin' 2 which Golan/Globus suddenly decided needed to become the next action star. Interesting choice one might say. She's no Michael Dudikoff or Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Upcoming: Death Wish 2 - 5, Breakin' 2: Electric Bugaloo, Eskimo Limon and Last American Virgin. Yes, all Golan/Globus :)

Just a note, there are two documentaries about Cannon group you can watch if you want to know more: The Go-Go Boys: The Inside Story of Cannon Films (2014) and Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films (2014)

2. Confined (2015) 4/10
Main attraction in this one is Jason Patric, playing a wheelchair-bound security guard who acts as support to Louisa Krause's troubled trainee, and at one point tells her that he has nowhere else to go. As it turns out, the movie has nowhere to go either. It's just a whole lot of sub-Devil's Backbone ghost kid hooey that plumps for the oldest twist ending in the book.

1. Devils of Darkness (1965) - 7.0
standard gothic horror, but with fun elements of black magic, a pleasantly creepy bad guy and a few fine looking ladies. what more can you ask for from this genre? The very English (cliché) look at both French and English policemen was also fun

2. Faccia a faccia (1967) - 7.5
Two very good leads in this spaghetti western. Original characters too. Their story-arcs where not entirely believable to me, but I liked the ideas behind it.

4. Brothers of the Head (2005) 6/10
British drama/mockumentary about siamese twins plucked from obscurity and thrust into the world of music. Highlight is the performance of the Treadaway brothers as the conjoined twins whose insecurities and internalised anger are magnified by their musical success. Besides the central hook there's nothing that distinguishes it from the standard run-of-the-mill quasi-biopics.

5. Empty Rooms (2010) 3/10
A woman and her autistic son move into a home with a seemingly troubled past. Supernatural encounters -- and a whole lot of boredom -- ensue. Think The Babadook stripped of all the elements that make it interesting and filmed by an amateur.

1. Zatoichi monogatari (1962)
Not bad but slower than I would've expected.

2. The Muthers (1976)
Similar in tone to Filipino captive women movies like Big Bird Cage and Big DollHouse but missing that key ingredient of Pam Grier that made those tolerable.

3. La nuit des traquees (1980)
Oh, a Jean Rollin movie. Gratuitous nudity? Check. Languid, dream-like pace? Check. Unstable lesbians? Check. Vampires? Ch- Wait... No vampires!?!? Just some people with a degenerative brain disease...
